Atención Comunidad Latina en DC: La Fecha Límite Para Declarar Sus Impuestos es el 17 de abril
De acuerdo al Servicio de Impuestos Internos (IRS pos sus siglas en Inglés) la fecha límite para presentar las declaraciones de impuestos de 2017 es el martes, 17 de abril de 2018, en lugar de la fecha tradicional del 15 de abril.
En 2018, el 15 de abril cae domingo, y esto generalmente movería la fecha límite de presentación al siguiente lunes – 16 de abril. Sin embargo, ese lunes se observará el Día de la Emancipación – un día feriado legal en el Distrito de Columbia, lo que moverá la fecha límite para la presentación hasta el martes, 17 de abril de 2018. Conforme a la ley de impuestos, los días feriados legales en el Distrito de Columbia afectan la fecha límite de presentación en toda la nación.
