CAAB Engages with Employees and Contractors at Ward 8-based Building Bridges Across the River on Achieving Financial Wellness and Raising Awareness of the EITC
At the invitation from the Building Bridges Across the River (BBAR), on June 25, 2018, staff from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) provided a presentation to BBAR staff and contractors on best practices to achieve personal financial stability and financial wellness, and discussed the key anti-poverty role the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) plays in the District of Columbia.
The presentation was part of CAAB's #DCEITC Community Conversations. The Conversations are in-person presentations to low- and moderate-income residents of the District of Columbia to raise awareness of the EITC and connect Washingtonians with free tax preparation services in all 8 wards and online.
