CAAB Partners with DC Public Library and Bank on DC to Engage with MBSYEP Participants on Financial Wellness and Raising Awareness of the EITC
At the invitation from DC Public Library (DCPL) and in partnership with Bank on DC on July 17, 2018, staff from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) provided a presentation at the West End Neighborhood Library to Washingtonian youth participating in the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program on best practices to achieve personal financial stability and financial wellness, and discussed the key anti-poverty role the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) plays in the District of Columbia.
The presentation was part of CAAB's #DCEITC Community Conversations. The Conversations are in-person presentations to low- and moderate-income residents of the District of Columbia to raise awareness of the EITC and connect Washingtonians with free tax preparation services in all 8 wards and online.
About the DC EITC Campaign
