CAAB Partners with Martha's Table to Raise EITC Awareness in DC

At the invitation from Martha's Table, staff from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) presented on March 19th to the parents of Martha's Table Success Center on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), free tax preparation services offered by the DC EITC Campaign and asset-building services offered by CAAB throughout the Greater DC Area.

Per CAAB's Executive Director, Rich Petersen, "The EITC is one of the most effective policy tools for lifting Americans out of poverty. In the District of Columbia, the EITC puts money back in the pockets of working individuals and families, strengthens neighborhood businesses and boosts the local economy."

CAAB in partnership with Community Tax Aid (CTA), manages the DC EITC Campaign.
