CAAB Presents on Financial Wellness and First Time Home Buying in DC
At the invitation from the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB), Joseph Leitmann-Santa Cruz, Director of External Relations of Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB), participated in the DISB-sponsored "Buying a Home: Are you Financially Fit?" workshop on June 27th during the 2015 Housing Expo in Washington, DC organized by the DC Department of Housing.
Buying a home is the single most important asset-building decision most households ever make and financial fitness is a key to success. This workshop was designed to assist participants decide if they are ready by providing information on savings and banking services, individual development accounts, home buyer education and support groups and pre-purchase housing counseling.
