CAAB's Rich Petersen Joins WAWF to Talk About Financially Empowering Girls & Women in Greater DC Area

 
At the invitation of the Washington Area Women's Foundation (WAWF), Rich Petersen, CAAB's Executive Director, spoke today at WAWF's Leadership Luncheon 2015 on how CAAB works to financially empower girls and women throughout the Greater DC Area. Thanks to the support and funding from WAWF, for the past year, CAAB has partnered with Academy of Hope Adults PCS to provide financial education classes and one-on-one financial coaching services to their students.

At the invitation of the Washington Area Women's Foundation (WAWF), Rich Petersen, Executive Director of Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB), spoke today at WAWF's Leadership Luncheon 2015 on how CAAB works to financially empower girls and women throughout the Greater DC Area.

Rich participated in a panel with Lecester Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School, and Alexis McGee, a student at Academy of Hope Adult PCS, and moderated by WAWF's President & CEO Jennifer Lockwood-Shabat, to discuss the importance of teaching financial education to youth, young adults and adults.
