Economic Inclusion in Washington, DC: Building Credit

 
CAAB and Partners hosted the 2nd quarterly Economic Inclusion in DC events on May 27th. The session focused on proven and emerging strategies to help consumers build credit and to increase acceptance of alternative approaches to credit-building. Participants engaged in a robust discussion about cross-sector credit strategies that can contribute significantly to a more inclusive, equitable DC economy.

Economic Inclusion: Building Credit

CAAB and Partners hosted the 2nd quarterly Economic Inclusion in DC events on May 27th at The R.I.S.E. Demonstration Center in Washington, DC. Over 100 people attended the event. The event focused on proven and emerging strategies to help consumers build credit and to increase acceptance of alternative approaches to credit-building. Participants engaged in a robust discussion about cross-sector credit strategies that can contribute significantly to a more inclusive, equitable DC economy.

The organizers of the quarterly Economic Inclusion in DC events are Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB), Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development, Comptroller of the Currency, Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED), District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and United Way of the National Capital Area.
