CAAB Joins VITA Partners to Discuss the EITC and Free Tax Preparation Services

 
At the invitation from the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) and the United Way of the National Capital Area (UWNCA), on August 22, 2018, staff from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) attended a Listening Session hosted by DISB and UWNCA on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).

CAAB Joins VITA Partners to Discuss the EITC and Free Tax Preparation Services   

At the invitation from the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) and the United Way of the National Capital Area (UWNCA), on August 22, 2018, staff from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) attended a Listening Session hosted by DISB and UWNCA on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).

During the Listening Session, CAAB emphasized the key poverty alleviation role the EITC plays in the District of Columbia and on CAAB's management of the DC EITC Campaign.

About the DC EITC Campaign 

The CAAB-managed DC EITC Campaign, is a citywide, cross-sector initiative that provides access to information on the EITC and connects Washingtonians with free tax preparation services throughout the District.

The DC EITC Campaign is made possible through the support from the Government of the District of Columbia, Citi Community Development and United Way of the National Capital Area.
