Partnering with WC Smith to Financially Empower DC's Youth

 
At the invitation from WC Smith, on July 6th Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) provided a financial empowerment workshop for 50 District of Columbia youth at THEARC. Participants learned how to gain control of their finances by acquiring knowledge of their relationship with money, how to budget, how to properly utilize credit, their financial rights and how to save & invest for a better future.

The youth are participants in WC Smith's 2016 Summer Youth Employment Program

CAAB congratulates WC Smith for incorporating financial education into the summer youth employment program. Financially empowering our community's youth is beneficial for them and for the rest of society.
