On January 9, 2017, at the invitation from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity, Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) presented on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the EITC's positive impact on low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Washington, DC and free tax preparation services available through the District of Columbia at the launch of the Financially Fit DC Initiative hosted by Mayor Muriel Bowser.
