Richard Hall, CAAB's first Executive Director (1997-2005) reflects on a decade of community investment.

CAAB celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2007. Our reception and silent auction brought together old friends and new to celebrate 10 years of investing in people and strengthening communities.  Keynote speaker Tom Gardner, Co-Founder and CEO of the Motley Fool, praised CAAB for its efforts and said, “organizations like CAAB are absolutely critical because they can help [people] step-by-step become stakeholders” in their communities. We recognized CAAB’s founders and celebrated the collaborative spirit that continues to define the organization today.

The Anniversary Celebration featured:

  • Keynote Speaker, Tom Gardner, CEO, The Motley Fool
  • A speech and a cappella performance from IDA Saver Lisa Long
  • A Silent Auction that raised more than $3,000 for CAAB's programs
  • Awards for CAAB's founding organizations, distinguished leaders, and community advocates
