CAAB Achieves GuideStar's Platinum Status for 2020

 
Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) is excited to announce that CAAB has earned the 2020 Platinum GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of non-profit information.

Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) is excited to announce that CAAB has earned the 2020 Platinum GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of non-profit information. 

By sharing metrics that highlight progress CAAB is making toward its mission, the organization is helping donors better evaluate and compare non-profits by providing tangible insight into the impact of the organization’s services and impact. 

"We are honored to receive this distinction. The qualitative and quantitative data that have been shared on CAAB's GuideStar Nonprofit Profile serve as indicators of how diligently we strive to advance CAAB’s mission for the benefit of low- and moderate-income Black and Brown families in our region,” said Joseph Leitmann-Santa Cruz, CAAB’s CEO & Executive Director. We are proudly focusing on intentionally addressing and closing the racial wealth gap in the Washington, DC metropolitan region.” 

To reach this level, CAAB included extensive information on its GuideStar Profile, including in-depth financial information, qualitative information about goals, strategies, and capabilities, and quantitative information about results and progress toward our mission.
