CAAB Launches 2020 Tax Season #DCEITC Community Conversations

 
On January 9, 2020, Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) launched the 2020 Tax Season's #DCEITC Community Conversations. The Conversations are in-person presentations to low- and moderate-income residents of the District of Columbia and to organizations working with low- to moderate-income DC to raise awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and connect Washingtonians with free tax preparation services in all 8 wards and online.

CAAB Launches 2020 Tax Season #DCEITC Community Conversations

On January 9, 2020, Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) launched the 2020 Tax Season's #DCEITC Community Conversations. The Conversations are in-person presentations to low- and moderate-income residents of the District of Columbia and to organizations working with low- to moderate-income DC  to raise awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and connect Washingtonians with free tax preparation services in all 8 wards and online.

Thanks to the invitation from the DC Department of Human Services, CAAB presented today to all DC-based Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Employment and Education Program (TEP) services providers.

About the DC EITC Campaign 

The CAAB-managed DC EITC Campaign, is a citywide, cross-sector initiative that provides access to information on the EITC and connects Washingtonians with free tax preparation services throughout the District.

The DC EITC Campaign is made possible through the support from the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB), Washington Gas, United Way of the National Capital Area as well as other key private sector partners.
