CAAB Launches #DCEITC Awareness & Empowerment Virtual Presentations Every Wednesday Through the End of the 2020 Tax Season on July 15th!

The Inaugural #DCEITC Awareness & Empowerment Virtual Presentation Will Focus on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) on Wednesday, June 10th 1:00 PM-2:00 PM via Zoom

For the past four decades, the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) has been considered the most effective poverty alleviation public policy in the nation.

In 2019, over 49,000 low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Washington, DC benefited from the EITC--at both the Federal and DC level--and received over $161 million associated with the EITC.

Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) estimates that around 20,000 EITC-eligible Washingtonian individuals and families did not claim the EITC and left about $40 million on the table.

We need to ensure that all EITC-eligible Washingtonian individuals and families know of the EITC and claim it!

Please join us on Wednesday, June 10th 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM for the inaugural #DCEITC Awareness & Empowerment Virtual Presentation via Zoom to learn about the EITC and become part of the solution.
