CAAB Provides Financial Wellness Workshop to Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program Participants
On July 10, 2019, Kenneth Lampkin, Sr. Program Manager, from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) provided a financial wellness workshop for Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program participants at DC Public Library.
Workshop participants learned of the importance of taking control of their finances, savings, access to consumer friendly financial products & services, credit, debt management and credit building strategies.
Services were provided for free by CAAB at this event thanks to the community impact and financial empowerment support from United Way of the National Capital Area.
