CAAB to Partner with Telemundo Washington for a Taxes Phone Bank in Spanish on March 29th
On March 29, 2018, Telemundo 44 will host a Taxes phone bank to provide information, guidance and resources in Spanish from Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB), Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC), CASA and Montgomery County Community Action Agency, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Telemundo's station in Washington, DC.
Community members can call 202-885-4949 for help with taxes questions and issues on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM as well as follow Telemundo Washington on its news hours 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM and at www.telemundowashingtondc.com.
CAAB looks forward to raise awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and inform Spanish speaking residents of the District of Columbia on the availability of free tax preparation services in all 8 Wards and online.

The CAAB-managed DC EITC Campaign, is a citywide, cross-sector initiative that provides access to information on the EITC and connects Washingtonians with free tax preparation services throughout the District.
