The DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking is collaborating with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., Financial Planning Association, Foundation for Financial Planning, the United States Conference of  Mayors and AARP District of Columbia to host a free event that will provide an opportunity for DC residents to receive free financial planning advice and guidance from professional financial planners. In addition, there will be educational workshops addressing personal finance topics that include general financial planning, retirement planning, insurance planning, and income tax planning.
